We recently stayed at a cozy country inn and had an amazing experience. The location was breathtaking with stunning views and plenty of local walks to explore. The room was lovely with little extras like bottled water and sherry. The restaurant was excellent with delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We especially liked how they offered plenty of local maps and walks for guests to enjoy.
Honestly, there were no negative aspects of our stay. The pillows were a bit hard, but that's really just personal preference.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location in a neighboring village was absolutely charming, with a lovely restaurant feel and stunning views of the valley from our room. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The room amenities, including ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities, were a nice touch and added to our overall comfort. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant and found the food to be of high quality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and we truly appreciated their efforts. We also appreciated the free wi-fi in public areas, which allowed us to stay connected during our visit.
This hotel would be a great choice for families as well.

Very cosy room and the sherry was a nice touch after a fun drive down steep country lanes in the dark and fog! Great evening meal. Fabulous location for walking - all on your door step. And having no mobile reception was a welcome break!
The bar wasnt as cosy as I might expect from such a country location - upright wooden chairs and benches. More sofas and open fires would be lovely. The nightly room price is quite steep for effectively a top end b and B. Albeit a very nice one!

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. The staff, including a young lady learning the ropes, provided friendly and excellent service in the dining room. The breakfast was of high quality and delicious, with a lovely view of the valley. The location of the hotel, just outside a neighboring village, made it convenient for walking and town shopping.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
